8 MONTH CONTRACT WITH POSSIBILITY TO EXTEND OR CONVERT BASED ON PERFORMANCE

PAY: $10/HR

SHIFT: 1ST SHIFT (6:42AM - 3:12PM M-F) POSSIBLE OVERTIME BASED ON NEEDS

HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA/GED REQUIRED


The candidates are required to take a test before an offer is made. It does contain basic math, however, they will have to demonstrate that they can use a tape measure to measure parts in imperial and metric according to the engineering drawing and print documentation provided.

It also has sections including inspection, matching items to correct work order, general math as I stated such adding, subtracting, division, multiplication, converting decimals to percentage and percentage to decimals.




Job Description:
-Assist other shop associates in the handling of material and operations within the areas assigned
-Delivers processed materials to next operation or to storage
-Responsible for a quality product.
-Responsible for checking own work and ensure meets ISO and manufacturing standards set forth by the Company
-Works with all disciplines in support of Lean initiatives
-Understands safety protocol and follows all safety rules in the performance of duties.
-Wears appropriate PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) for the job duties being performed
-Maintains good housekeeping and ensures work area is neat and tidy for next shift.
-Keeps all necessary records within Oracle and other methods of documentation.
-Possess ability to read and interpret simple blueprints and drawings used for such work

Assembly Area:Responsible for assembling of simple types of assemblies and sub-assemblies.

Painting Area:Responsible for assisting painters in the wet and powder areas. Ability to use cranes. forklifts and material handling equipment. Must be able to read and interpret simple paint specifications and inspect finished parts

ASRS: Responsible for assisting electrical and mechanical assemblers. Familiar with electrical and/or mechanical concepts.

Shipping Area:Provides support to the Shippers in the course of collecting, boxing, skidding, shipment of product to the customer location and/or specified Intelligrated locations. Must be able to operate small hand tools, small power tools such as saws, drills, nail gun. Responsible for the building of skids to transport finished product from production area.

Roller/Bearing/Fab:Assist machine operators in simple to complex tasks assigned. Must have good mathematical skills, understands how to use measuring tape measure.

May be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
