• Candidate MUST have the soldering experience.

Responsibilities:
• This position is responsible for detailed visual and paperwork verifications in support of cables, Unit Test Adapters (UTA’s), Test Racks, Computer Automated Test Equipment for the Test Equipment Build (Electrical Fabrication COE).
• Conduct inspection in accordance with Quality specifications-Ensuring compliance to standards and Customer/Gov’t regulations, Industry standards (IPC-610/620, J-Std-001).
• Input inspection results and navigate within the appropriate manufacturing execution system (SAP/Efactory/E-Traveler) and configuration managements systems
• Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive inspection tasks for multiple space, defense and commercial programs.
• Follow procedures and processes using various equipment in order to complete tasks, adhere to standard work.
• Supports Activities.
• Recommends and implements Cis
• Logs and escalates issues in appropriate quality systems (SAP-QN, FRACA’s, JIRA) as required by programs and company policies.
• Conducts 5S audits. Solid understanding of RPS; Leads/Participates in Kaizen events. Uses visuals to manage cells and to escalate issues.
• Log and publish pertinent Quality Metrics for work area.
• Perform First Article Inspection (FAIR) on test equipment.
• Utilize Built in Quality (BIQ) principles daily and initiate improvement opportunities to resolve any potential quality concerns.
• Conduct monthly area and equipment product audits.
• Work to established daily plan
• Communication to others within the organization and interface with team members (both local and global) in order to solve defined issues and complete tasks.
• Mentor and coach lower level inspectors and/or production associates.
• Possess knowledge and skills in order to perform tasks that require a high level of focus as an integral part of the job in order to ensure quality, safety and avoid injury.
• Ability to use inspection tools associated with related products, capable of interpreting drawings and procedures.
• Lifting is generally in the 10 to 15 Lbs. range with minimal repetitions.
• Exposure to machinery, chemical, biological, and physical risks is minimal.
• May require some overtime during the week and on Saturdays and /or Sundays.

1st Shift. 6:00am to 2:30pm. Monday to Friday

You Must Have:
• Must be a United States Citizen due to contractual requirements.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 2 years of Inspection or related manufacturing experience required
