KEY INFO FROM MANAGER:
• Manager wants to focus on 3+ years of planning/production control experience
• This position supports production floor with 80% of the time spent away from the desk.
• This role is primarily a Production Scheduler
• Key to success is having a solid foundation in production planning and production control.
• Communicates and works with the respective department personnel to ensure critical parts are expedited through the required processes.
• With on the job training, candidate will support production floor planning in the movement of parts from one work center to another.
• Ability to use MS Excel and Access Data Base Tools with prior experience applying these tools in a manufacturing environment.
• Collects and analyzes data to evaluate operational difficulties and makes recommendations to solve problems.
• Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a manufacturing environment.
Basic Qualifications:
• Requires High School Diploma or GED
• Must be a US Citizen
• Minimum of 3 years working in a manufacturing environment in a planning/production control/production coordination capacity.
• 3 years Microsoft Excel experience including expertise with advanced functions such as v-lookups and pivot tables
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• SAP experience a plus but not required
• Working in the Aero industry is a plus but not required
• Reports to Production Planning Manager
SCHEDULE
• Work Schedule: - 1st shift
• Training will be OJT (on the job) during first shift hours.
• ALL OT MUST BE PREAPPROVED BY SUPERVISOR BEFORE ANY OT HOURS ARE ACCRUED BY EMPLOYEE - OT WILL BE LIMITED
• Duration for up to 1 year
