Description:
This is a great opportunity for someone with a Biological Sciences degree to start your career and gain valuable experience with a leading pharmaceutical company! This is an entry-level opportunity with excellent room for growth based on candidate performance. Only a Bachelor's degree in a Biological Sciences field is required, preferably in Microbiology.
Microbiology Lab Technician Responsibilities:
* Position is for first shift Mon-Fri with general hours of work from 8-5pm with occasional weekend work and overtime
• Perform QC microbiological tests and interpret results based upon the Departmental Standard Operating Procedures.
* Requires consistent attention to detail and legible handwriting to complete documentation on GMP test records
• Performs sampling and testing as required both in controlled manufacturing environments and the laboratory
* Tasks require basic knowledge of general microbiological principals and aseptic techniques.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a Biological Sciences field is a must. Degree in Microbiology preferred.
• Must have the ability to solve basic math equations.
• No previous lab experience is required.
