Role Overview
The Configuration Center Internal Help Desk role is responsible for maintaining communication between the Configuration Center and other departments regarding order status. Act as main point of contact for internal customers regarding configuration orders and status.

Key Areas of Responsibility
• Review installed components on configuration orders for compatibility and release orders after verification.
• Provide Account Manager with options regarding issues to include: sold wrong item, order incompatibility issue, inventory/allocation issue, and completion date.
• Respond and follow up with internal customer requests regarding configuration orders and status.
• Update comments on incoming return merchandise authorization (RMAs)
• Inform Configuration Team on changes to configuration orders to include order completion status.
• Request replacement parts.
• Complete daily checklist of duties.
• Process all defective products on a daily basis.

Responsibilities
• Complete projects and tasks assigned by management to include team leading and configuring computers.
• It may be necessary on occasion for this individual to work beyond their regularly scheduled shift
• Overtime is to be expected and in some cases may be required
• Seated at Help Desk and also walks around to resolve / investigate issues.
• Demonstrate ability to lift and carry up to 10 pounds of force occasionally (0-33% of the workday) and 11 to 25 pounds of force rarely (0-12% of the workday). The team lift system must be utilized for loads weighing more than 50 pounds.
• Demonstrate ability to push and pull up to 25 pounds of force rarely (0-12% of the workday).
• Demonstrate ability to perform eight or more hours of standing, walking, bending, lifting, stooping and carrying products in combination at any given time.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment which includes changes in temperature as weather fluctuates, noise from conveyors and forklifts.

Education/Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent/ GED.

Preferred Qualifications
• A+ certification or an equivalent combination of education and a minimum of two years of experience with the ability to demonstrate knowledge.
• Network+ Certification
• 3rd Certification (Server+, Security+, etc.)
• Preferred Qualifications for Internal Applicants only:
• Worked in Internal Services for a minimum of 6 months or equivalent
• Knowledge of internal systems
