Cortech Staffing is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a Direct Hire position in South Beloit, IL.
This position will drive our outsourcing activities with operational teams and providers for successful selection, contracting and execution of outsourced product while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, ethical practices, client outsourcing and procurement policies and procedures.

70k-90k/year

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Analyze, assess risk, and perform due diligence on the technical capabilities of outsourcing partnerships.
• Negotiate contracts with outsourcing partnerships enhancing cost, price, delivery, packaging, and volume requirements.
• Conduct site visits of external outsourcing partners to perform audits, training, and quality inspections of all outsourced work.
• Manage quality and design of outsourced production.
• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to lower material costs via engineering solutions.
• Identify cost savings opportunities in product design and packaging.
• Recommend and implement improvements to production processes, methods, and controls.
• Creation and maintenance of SOPs and work instructions for finished goods packaging.
• Maintain all part drawings including all revisions, materials, processes, and part numbers.
• Participate in product line simplification and ongoing management.
