**Position requires prior Janitorial experience in a manufacturing facility
This is a 2nd shift position working 2:00pm - 10:30pm.
Position Summary:
The role of the IMM Cleaner is to be responsible for cleaning floors, removing debris, and keeping areas neat and tidy in the injection molding department.
Responsibilities
Sweep and mop floors; clean spills properly depending on type of spill.
Clean buildings by emptying trash, sweeping, and cleaning surfaces.
Follow responsibility sheet for deep cleaning assignments.
Use scrubbers, floor strippers, automatic floor washers, and other necessary equipment.
Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after
operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not
created.
Use cleaning solutions to remove stains and clean surfaces.
Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges,
and squeegee.
Clean and service restrooms with mops and disinfectants.
Identify and report possible repairs.
All other duties assigned.
Knowledge / Skills:
Prior Janitorial or Maintenance experience
Ability to stand 8 to 12 hours per day.
Good decision maker, able to work on own initiative.
Self-motivated and task oriented.
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
Strong team player
Proficient level of English
Detail oriented
