DESCRIPTION:

Your Role:
Client Electronics has openings for a Gas and Chemical Project Technicians for its team in Santa Clara, CA. The individual will be responsible for supporting and leading the technical demands of the site gas and chemical equipment. They will ensure compliance in operation and maintenance procedures, emergency preparedness, and drive flawless execution. A subject matter expert for gas, chemical and slurry equipment, providing technical support and problem resolution. The individuals will be a part of the onsite Project and equipment team and will support the gas and chemical operations in 11 buildings throughout Santa Clara and Sunnyvale. The Technician will be responsible for supporting and leading the technical challenges for over 2000 pieces of gas and chemical distribution equipment of various types and vendors. You will ensure compliance when writing, editing and executing operating and maintenance procedures and drive a ZERO safety or quality incident culture. A subject matter expert for gas, chemical and slurry equipment, providing technical support and problem resolution.
The individual will also be involved in project and sustaining operations, Basic Safety Process, quality management, preventative maintenance and training. They will support installation, decommissioning, troubleshooting and repair of all Client Electronics Gas Systems, Applied Energy Systems gas systems, Fuji liquid delivery systems, Air Liquide Gas and Chemical systems. The individual must be capable of performing cylinder and drum changes on all chemical and gas systems and perform complex troubleshooting and problem resolution for all equipment. Must demonstrate quality and comprehensive knowledge of gas or chemical applications in wafer fabrication and emergency response.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with chemical and gas distribution equipment
Experience with gas and chemical systems in a semiconductor ultra high purity operation as an equipment technician
Navy Nuclear power school or Military mechanic trained.
Associate or Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in electronics, design, or engineering

Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
10 + years of experience in maintenance or equipment technician
