JobsRUs.com is currently in search of a Maintenance Mechanic in Ogdensburg,NY.
Pay is $20 +/hr depending on experience.
Rotating shifts
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
*Perform assigned functions as related to a preventative maintenance program.
*Troubleshoot malfunctioning or inoperative equipment to determine the root cause of problems.
*Make repairs to any plant equipment or structure as required.
*Layout and fabricate projects of steel as directed.
*Install new equipment or systems as directed.
*Perform all projects in a workmanlike manner, leaving the area clean and orderly upon completion.
*Observe all safety procedures including lockout/Tagout and confined space entry, and maintain and use appropriate safety equipment as required.
*Work cooperatively within the team structure of the Maintenance Department.
Millwrights are responsible for maintaining plant equipment and property. Maintenance duties are diverse and require a good working knowledge of mechanical systems and good trade skills of plumbing, electrical, hydraulics, welding, and fabrication, among others. The manufacture of ferrite powder is a continuous process and good maintenance for consistent equipment performance is critical to production.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Must be able to wear a respirator.
Minimum of a high school diploma. Preference Trade School or Technical School training.
Must be able to work overtime or accept call-in time when the need arises
Must be able to work any assigned shift. Rotating shifts
Must have welding experience.
