DESCRIPTION
The Electrician will install, repair and maintain the electrical wiring, equipment, fixtures, and systems in buildings while ensuring work is in accordance with relevant codes.
Job Duties
Install, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, and systems.
Troubleshoot electrical issues in production equipment.
Inspect systems for hazards, defects, and compliance with codes.
Plan and install wiring, fixtures, and conduits.
Connect electrical systems to power sources and test for proper function.
Perform maintenance and repairs, including circuit breakers and wiring replacements.
Support facility maintenance beyond electrical work.
Follow safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and Hazmat policies.
Requirements
5 to 7 years of electrical maintenance experience.
Journeyman’s License, military equivalent, or 60 plus electrical credit hours.
High school diploma or GED required; Associate or Technical Degree preferred.
Forklift and pallet jack certification preferred.
Strong knowledge of tools, troubleshooting, and safety protocols.
