Position: Material Handler

Pay: $18.00/ $19.00 per hour to start
Shift: Monday - Friday, 7 a.m. - 3:30pm p.m. + OT as needed
Monday - Friday, 11 a.m. - 7:30pm p.m. + OT as needed
Scope of Position:
Material Handler, loading and unloading of freight and goods...breaking down of pallets, building of pallets and inventory order.
Requirements:
Must be able to lift 40 pounds or more, physically able to work this position.
Key Responsibilities:
Essential Functions:
• Moves materials off trucks, pallets or racks and prepares orders for shipment while sorting
and segregating materials onto correct pallets or other locations based on item number.
• Place labels on boxes or pallets as instructed in the process
• Wrap pallets with stretch wrap and other packaging supplies
• Put away product in designated warehouse locations
• Identify damage, loss, or surplus of materials and communicate issues
• Utilizes RF (Radio Frequency) equipment to track product
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, kneel, bend, lift, push and pull and withstand temperatures in a
warehouse environment.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
• Keep clean and safe work environment
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations, including
safety.
Required Education and Experience:
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Attendance priority
• Clean background and a passing drug screening is required
• 1 year of relevant warehouse and distribution experience preferred
• Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail
