Job Description:
Coordinate meetings and events that are held daily in 10 different conference rooms. The position requires a computer savvy professional interested in the hospitality industry, who also has strong problem solving and communication skills.
Duties and Responsibilities: Manage conference room calendar in Outlook Acknowledge meeting requests Track reservation responses and follow-up Plan for meeting room setting up time requirements Ensure space requirements are met Work with team for furniture reconfiguration Assist with food and beverage station setup Reshuffle meetings/events due to space limitations Strong interpersonal and communication skills Manage and track all related equipment for room reconfigurations Ability to solve problems in a hectic environment Strong organizational skills Assist the mailroom/facilities team with other tasks as assigned
Minimum Qualifications: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Strong organization, multi-tasking, and time management skills Hospitality experience preferred, but not required
Physical Demands: Physical demands include a considerable amount of time walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting and stooping Required to physically move 6-foot tables, as well as chairs and other furniture Will require lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 56lbs
