Our company is expanding. We are seeking several new Shipping/Receiving Specialists in Fera Bush, NY.
Hours: Monday-Friday (Overtime Possible)
7am-4pm
Pay: $20.00 per hour
About the Role:
Are you ready to jumpstart your career? As a Shipping/Receiving Specialist, you will be a vital part of our client's operation. This dynamic role involves a variety of tasks to keep our operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
-Confirms and records the receipt of shipments, prepares items for shipping, and loads and unloads trucks. Preferred candidates with stand up forklift and/or electric pallet jack experience.
-Reports damages and discrepancies for accounting, reimbursement and record-keeping purposes. Completes shipping and receiving reports.
-Also responsible for managing the inter-departmental transport of materials.
-Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
-Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
-Performs a variety of tasks.
-A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
-Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
What We’re Looking For:
**Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
**Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
**A team player with a keen eye for detail.
**Comfortable working in a fast-paced, sometimes noisy warehouse environment.
**Ability to follow directions and adhere to performance and safety standards.
**Prior experience in a similar role (manufacturing, transportation, warehousing) is a plus, but not required.
**High school diploma or GED required.
**Little to no experience necessary—we provide training!
